Located in the district of Satara amidst the Sahyadri mountain range and known as the summer capital of British province in the British Raj. Old Mahabaleshwar: 7 km from old Mahabaleshwar have many tourists points and temples having the architecture of ancient India surrounded by the rivers Bhagirathi along with 6 others.  Krishnabai temple: Behind Panchganga temple there is another where Krishna river is worshiped and it has Shiv Lingam and statue of Krishna. 3 monkey point: There is a natural sculpture made of stones which attract tourists and generally linked with the three monkeys of Gandhiji sitting next to each other or Three wise monkeys.  Venna lake: Lakes view is too fascinating and around completely by trees. One can book a hotel near it according to its budget from 3 star to luxury hotels and enjoy the lake’s panoramic view. Other includes kate’s point, Wilson point, Pratapgad and Lingmala waterfalls.
